PADOVA BY BIKE
Padova contains many faces and many facets to discover and savor slowly to fully grasp the spirit of the good life of this elegant city of art.
The tour will allow you to discover the main places of historical and artistic interest, but at the same time will take you to discover the canals that surround the city.
PROGRAM:
The excursion will start from Prato della Valle to discover the enchantment of one of the largest squares in Europe. Here stands the Basilica of Santa Giustina and after a few steps we will reach another important Basilica, guardian of the tomb of Sant’Antonio. We will then reach the squares of the center, to visit, outside Palazzo della Ragione, the Caffè Pedrocchi, the University, and the squares. Leaving the ancient Porte Contarine we take the Piovego canal that leads us to Portello, the ancient river port of the city, today a lively student district. From here we follow the San Gregorio canal and then return to the city from the Bassanello district.
Before concluding the excursion we will toast with the most famous Paduan aperitif that has conquered the world: the Spritz!

You can start this tour from the following bike-rental points:
PADUA, PRATO DELLA VALLE. Possibility of parking in Piazza Rabin for those arriving by private vehicles. Prato della Valle is also easily reachable from the Padua Train Station by Tram or numerous bus lines.
For groups or specific requests, possibility of agreeing on a different meeting point and bike delivery always outside the ZTL of Padua.
No overnight stays are planned for this tour.
